Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/11/2004
Drink: from 2010

At en primeur: superb definition on the nose. Very pure with fine cedar and pencil-lead notes. Lovely ripeness here. Fine acidity. Pure classic Cabernet. Fresh and very classy - a Cabernet lovers delight. Then after bottling in November 2004. Just a stunning 2000 that offers great value for money. A pure nose of cedar, blackberry and pine. A nose that screams Pauillac from the church tower. Well-balanced palate with good definition. Peppery black fruits with a touch of black truffle developing. Cool, refined with a long, regal Cabernet finish. From 2010.
