Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/06/2013
Drink:

There is plenty of lively red cherries, cassis and dried rose petals on the nose of the Gevrey '09 from Rossignol-Trapet that is beginning to approach its drinking plateau. The palate is fleshy and generous on the opening with fine tannins and bright red currant and red cherry fruit as clean as a whistle on the finish. There is just a faint hint of ginger on the lingering aftertaste. Excellent. Tasted May 2013.
