Served blind at the Southwold 2009 tasting. This has a classic bouquet of blackberry, briary and cedar that is tightly wound but well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, saline-tinged black fruit, good depth and grip with a slightly brutish finish that will need several years to calm down. But this has good potential.
