The 2019 Cote de Brouilly Les Sept Vignes is showing beautifully, offering up aromas of sweet berry fruit and plums mingled with spices, raw cocoa, orange peel and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, it's seamless and elegant, concluding with a long, saline finish. As readers may know, this is essentially the same blend as the Cote de Brouilly imported into the US by Kermit Lynch, the difference being that the Sept Vignes sees a light filtration.
