The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles, always one of the domain's most characterful offerings, here is composed and expressive on the nose, with slate and light sea spray aromas combining effortlessly with the citrus fruit. This feels…effortless. The palate is very harmonious and poised with good depth and focus. There are touches of hazelnut, dried quince, smoke and Chinese five spice toward the finish that has real persistence and depth. This may well turn out to be one of Benoît Droin's best 2015s.
