The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras was less put together when I tasted it, offering up aromas of juicy cherries, wild berries and subtle grilled meats, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample but inscrutably tight-knit palate. The outlines are promising, but it needs more elevage, so my score is more than usually imprecise.
