An incipiently complex bouquet of Anjou pear, citrus oil and nutmeg preface the 2017 Meursault Vireuils, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered wine that's chalky, incisive and racy. The inherent tension of the site is tempered by the charm of the vintage to compelling effect.
